The Church of the Foothills shares the outreach mission of both denominations equally. Locally and globally we support colleges, universities, seminaries, health and care institutions for all ages, the homeless, transients, and the addicted… we respond to needs of all kinds.
With God’s help, we seek to keep this a Christ centered church with a warm and friendly heart, an open mind and an adventurous spirit. We further seek to keep it a church that cares, that heals hurt lives, that challenges the best in all of life and that is inclusive of all people.
As part of a reform-minded or progressive Protestant tradition, Church of the Foothills is an accepting, caring, open and affirming Christian congregation that welcomes and includes all people of every ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, economic status or religious background.
We welcome any person who loves God and neighbor and desires to follow the life, teachings and spirit of Jesus the Christ, regardless of church tradition or culture. Anyone seeking membership is received by statement of faith, letter of transfer from another church, or baptism. Each person joining is encouraged to voluntarily share in the mission and worship of the congregation, and to grow in faith and practice.
